Voluntary Code of Practice Update

As you may be aware, as both a member of the BBPA (British Beer and Pub Association) and the IFBB (Independent Family Brewers of Britain), Everards are a signatory to the Industry Voluntary Code of Practice.

The Voluntary Code of Practice outlines the professional commitments we make in our relationship with you as a Business Owner, on entry to your pub, during your tenure and when you exit your Business.

To support the Industry Code of Practice and put it into an Everards context, in 2019 we published "Your Pub, Your Business."

"Your Pub, Your Business" references the way we do Business during key points of the agreement such as entry, renewal, capital investment and exit.

The Industry Code of Practice has recently been updated and the BBPA and IFBB has asked us to make you aware of this new version and of the Pub Governing Body (PGB), the organisation responsible for promoting the advancement and improvement of Landlord (Pub Owning Companies) and tied tenant relationships in the licensed retail sector.

The changes are already part of normal practice in the Everards Business and so we can continue with our standard business processes.
