Publican Awards 2022!Publican Award Finalists!

We were delighted to be shortlisted for two prestigious Publican Awards - ‘Tenanted Pub Company of the Year (up to 500 pubs) and ‘Community Pub Operator of the Year’. The winners were announced last night, and we narrowly missed out this time within very competitive categories.

This was the seventh year that we have reached the final and, having won five times previously, we still feel delighted each time to be shortlisted. These awards offer us a fantastic opportunity to reflect and share all the stories from the past year or so with the judges. We were proud to share the tales of your activities during lockdown, supporting your local communities and showing amazing resilience.

We were reminded of the many Zoom calls and chats and the support we all gave to each other and the wider communities. We talked through the fantastic recipients of the Community Excellence Awards (with the Everard Family Foundation and Carling) who received a share of £40,000 to support their activities and our partnerships with Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland and Leicestershire Cares.

Regardless of the result we feel very proud of everyone connected to the business and we share this recognition with you all.
