Many thanks for filling in the recent survey on your proposals for re-start. Based on that information, we are now gearing up for the re-opening for outdoor service from 12th April, and so would like to share some information on how you can help us with placing orders and how we plan to schedule deliveries.

As previously, could all re-opening orders be placed via the myEverards platform. This helped us greatly after the first lockdown and will help us again moving forward. Hopefully the vast majority of you are familiar with the site now, but if you are unsure then you can view the tutorial from the virtual roadshow on the myEverards latest news area, or if you have a specific query, telesales will be happy to help.

Can you begin to place your orders on myEverards from 29th March (please not before as certain products may show as out of stock). From the 29th, all opening stock will be available as well as our re-opening Fantastic Deals.

The earlier you place your order, the more help you are providing us in planning volumes, routes and vehicles.

To provide cask ale the appropriate time to settle, we plan to begin deliveries on the normal delivery day schedule from the 2nd April (Good Friday). Therefore, if you are normally a Friday delivery and are planning to re-open on or soon after the 12th April, please place your order on myEverards as early as possible from 29th March, and we will deliver to you on 2nd April. For those who are normally a Monday delivery, planning to re-open on or soon after the 12th April we will deliver to you on 5th April, and so on.

Deadlines for placing orders will be the same as normal (6am on myEverards the day prior to delivery) but again, placing your order as soon as possible from the 29th March will be of great help to us.

Once we can understand orders and volumes, there may be an opportunity for us to deliver earlier than your normal delivery day. If this is the case, we will contact you prior to the delivery to let you know.

Delivery time windows may be slightly different as there will be less pubs to deliver to at this early stage. Thank you for your co-operation in making this work. As we progress into April and towards the May 17th date then we expect to fit back into the normal time window routine.

We understand that 5th April is the Governments final deadline for confirming that hospitality can re-open on 12th April. All indications are that this will be the case and so we have undertaken a significant brewing schedule and placed our own orders with suppliers to ensure products are ready for you. If the situation changes on the 5th then we will address any issues at that point in the knowledge of what the alternative opening date will be.

As part of the delivery schedule we will also collect your empties. Can you ensure that any unbroached stock eligible for the "Return your Beer" schemes (Click here for Diageo and here for the BBPA Scheme) have been registered and once the claim accepted, disposed of. Could we also ask that any liquid in kegs or casks not eligible for the schemes or broached is also disposed of. Unfortunately, the Dray teams cannot collect any unemptied kegs or casks as they have to be certain of the weights they are carrying.

Finally, our technical service and trade quality teams are visiting all those pubs that have indicated they intend to open on or around 12th April, so if you have queries about re-opening your cellar or disposing of beer, they will be happy to help.

In summary;

  • Please place your orders via myEverards from 29th March (Please not before). An early sight of your order is very helpful
  • Deliveries will begin on normal delivery day schedule from 2nd April.
  • Please ensure that any liquid in casks or kegs has been disposed of.

If you have any queries then just give Telesales a call.
