MYTILUS ALBARINO, SPAIN
WHY ME? Albarino is in 13% growth in the last year and steadily been growing over the last few years. Customers are discovering some great Spanish wines, it’s not just about Rioja. For your customers who enjoy Sauvignon Blanc they will love this. This winery use no malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the purity of the fruit.
The wine is then aged for four to six months on its lees to provide extra depth and complexity. Intense aromas of grapefruits, peach with notes of rose and aniseed. PASSORI ROSSO, VENETO
WHY ME? NEW listing, vegan friendly and double award winner (BRONZE (2016) International Wine Challenge 2018)! This rich, deeply coloured red is made from 60% Merlot and 40% Corvina from select vineyards in Veneto, Italy.
In homage to the Amarone wines of Vallpolicella the vines are cut but the grapes are left to dry naturally on the vine, a method known as Appassimento. The result is a rich luscious nose full of sweet, ripe dark cherry, plum, vanilla and Christmas spice. The body is rich and velvety, with lots of juicy fruit. Great with strong cheeses & red meats.
