£2,800 funds a new wheelchair for the Bears!
Nominated for support by Tom Masterson, the bears head coach the team were awarded funding from Everards and Carling earlier this year.
We’re delighted to see our new home receive such recognition!
We are delighted that Everards Meadows Phase 1B has been crowned the winner of the “Large non-residential scheme of the year” at the ProCon Leicestershire awards.
The awards celebrate the county’s best developments and recognise the people who develop, design and construct them. We had some tough competition in the category with other new developments from the University of Leicester in the running – Brookfield School of Business and Percy Gee East Wing buildings.
Everards Meadows Phase 1B is the design and construction of our new home, which includes our state-of-the-art brewery, beer hall, shop and offices.
This is the second ProCon award that Everards Meadows has received. In 2019 Phase 1 was recognised as “Regeneration Project of the Year”.
This phase involved the construction of the Rutland Cycling store and Jenno’s Coffee House. As well as new cycle paths and a new cycle and pedestrian bridge over the River Soar that links the communities of Enderby and Glen Parva to the site and opens up access to the SusTrans South Midlands Cycle Route and Leicester city centre.
Well done to all involved, including our external partners. We’re delighted to see our new home receive such recognition.
