Complete the BII survey and help the BII represent you with Government
On Wednesday 30th October, the Chancellor announced far-reaching changes to the National Minimum Wage, NICs contributions, and reduced the Business Rates relief from 75% to 40%. Since then, our sector has been analysing the impact these changes will have on pub businesses across the UK.
The BII needs to know what impact you think the Autumn Budget will have on your business, so they can take that data straight to Government. BII CEO, Steve Alton, joined a meeting with the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Johnathon Reynolds, this week, and spoke frankly about the huge challenges the increases in tax and liabilities for our sector will mean. The more evidence available to share with Government, the better.
The BII will ask for some sensitive data in this survey, and you can decide at the end of the survey if you would like to remain anonymous, or allow your data to be shared publicly. The plan is to take the reality of your business challenges directly to the Government and the press.
Thank you in advance for your help with this survey. Please also share it with any other Business Owners you know, in social media groups and beyond. The BII wants to have as much data as possible to help fight these changes.
