The Valuation Office will soon be asking for information. Everards engage Colliers on your behalf to provide help and support.
With the latest Business Rates published in April 2023, the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) will soon be requesting information for the next reassessment date of 1st April 2024, with new Business Rates based on this information due to come in to effect from April 2026.
To help you avoid the many pitfalls of this complicated property tax, Everards employ the Chartered Surveyor firm, Colliers International, to provide Business Owners with free independent rating advice. Their support ranges from responding to VOA requests, to challenging your Rateable Value (RV) through the Check, Challenge and Appeals process.
To ensure your RV is calculated properly, we would suggest that Colliers respond to any requests from the VOA on your behalf. Any information that you provide to Colliers is treated as strictly confidential and will only be used by them in order to review or contest your rating assessment.
