Business Rates 2023

There is a lot going on with Business Rates at the moment, from the draft Business Rates list, released last year, to the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Relief Scheme being extended and increased to 75% from April of this year (for pubs with rateable values over £15k)

If your rateable value is under £15k then you can qualify for Small Business Rate relief. You need to contact your Council to apply for Small Business Rate Relief

The BII have produced this handy guide which covers all things Business Rates related. While the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Relief should be applied automatically, it's always worth checking your rating is being handled correctly
