With its thatched roof and lovely country pub feel, The Old Kings Head sits proudly on the main through road of the pretty village of Long Buckby in West Northamptonshire.

This charming village local with its low ceilings, beams and roaring log fire is bursting with personality and offers a warm and friendly welcome to muddy boots, paws and all.

Immaculate inside and out The Old Kings Head prides itself on being the real heart of its community and is known for its well kept ale and great drinks range including a vast gin selection.

Inside, its split into three separate areas with comfy furnishings throughout. There's a main bar area and a cosy snug both served by the main bar and then another seating area. It boasts 80 covers both internally and externally.

Outside, you will find a courtyard with a beautiful decked terrace and plenty of parking.

The business is at the heart of the local community and supports local gatherings such as the dog walking community and the current business owners work closely with the Long Buckby Angels, a local organisation of volunteers supporting families and people with difficulties shopping or simply being able to post a parcel. It really is a staple of the village that supports its residents and vice versa.

Long Buckby sits midway between Northampton and Rugby and only two miles from Watford Gap.It offers a good range of shops including two small supermarkets, a chemists, a newsagents which includes the post office, a butchers, and four hairdressers, along with its own medical practice, two dentists and a modern village library.

The village has a railway station with lines to London and Birmingham.
