£460,000 Investment Brings New Life to Rothley Pub

Rothley is set to welcome back one of its much-loved pubs — and while it was already a firm local favourite, this is an amazing transformation you’ll want to see for yourself!

At the heart of it all is new operator Steve, who brings with him over 25 years of experience in the pub trade. A passionate publican and lifelong Leicester Tigers fan, Steve is ready to throw open the doors of The Royal Oak and create a space where everyone feels at home.

Following a significant £460,000 refurbishment, the pub reopens on 27th April under our Nebula agreement — an alternative to the traditional tenancy model we offer - that requires a lower initial financial outlay, making it easier to step into running your own pub.

“I can’t wait to open the doors and welcome everyone in. With such a fantastic refurbishment and a great range of food and drink, it’s going to be a brilliant place for the community to come together.”

says Steve

Operators like Steve benefit from additional support in areas such as menus and drink range, while still having full freedom to shape their team and create their own events — giving them more time to focus on what really matters: the people and the community at the heart of the pub.

The bar is set to impress from day one, launching with four cask ales and three keg lines — ensuring there’s a beer for everyone. Steve’s personal favourite, Sunchaser, will of course be flowing, reflecting his love for quality beer and a well-kept pint.

The investment has completely revitalised the space, blending modern comfort with the character and warmth you’d expect from a proper local. Alongside the drinks offer, visitors can look forward to an exciting food menu designed to complement the pub’s welcoming atmosphere.

This isn’t just a reopening — it’s a new chapter for the pub and the community it serves.

Doors open at 12pm on 27th April — pop in and check it out for yourself.
