Citrus Supernova: Celebrating 25 Years of the National Space Centre

We’re delighted to have teamed up with Leicester’s iconic National Space Centre to launch a very special beer celebrating its 25th birthday year.

Named Citrus Supernova, our new 4.4% pale ale brings together two much-loved Leicestershire names for a collaboration that is quite literally out of this world.

The beer was named by Kat at the National Space Centre and brewed by our team as a refreshing, easy-drinking pale ale. At 4.4% ABV, it’s a great session beer – perfect for enjoying with friends on a summer evening under the stars.

Claire Cannell, our Beer Sommelier, said:

“This collaboration is a brilliant opportunity to celebrate a significant milestone for the National Space Centre while shining a light on two organisations with strong roots here in Leicester and Leicestershire.”

We’ve been brewing beer in Leicestershire since 1849, and collaborations like Citrus Supernova give us the chance to celebrate the people, places and organisations that make our local area so special.

You can get your hands on Citrus Supernova at the Everards Beer Hall at Everards Meadows and in participating Everards pubs across the region.

So, whether you’re exploring the universe at the National Space Centre, meeting friends at your local or spending a summer evening gazing up at the night sky, there’s a new way to toast 25 years of one of Leicester’s most iconic attractions.

Here’s to 25 years of the National Space Centre – cheers to the next adventure!
