We've been brewing at Everards since 1849, when William Everard and his business partner Thomas Hull leased a small brewery on Southgate Street in Leicester and set about making honest beer for honest people. A lot has changed since then. We now brew at Everards Meadows, a 70-acre site in Enderby, just off junction 21 of the M1 opposite Fosse Park, powered in part by solar energy. The Everards Brewery Tour is a guided, behind-the-scenes look at our working brewery, and it's as close as you can get to understanding where great beers actually come from. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and run Thursday through to Sunday, with multiple time slots available across those days. This is our experimental operation, running alongside the main brewery and producing small quantities of beer that never leave Everards Meadows. We're talking milkshake IPAs, fruit sours, imperial stouts with cocoa nibs, and beers made for the love of the craft, available only to people who walk through our door. If one is pouring on your tour day, you're in for something that the rest of the country simply can't get hold of.

The tasting typically covers around three beers, guided by someone who can talk you through what you're drinking, why it tastes the way it does, and what went into making it. It's informative without being technical, and it changes how you drink beer afterwards.
